This Sunday, August 28. 2016, 12-4pm, is the 23rd Annual TransCanada Theater District Open House!
This is a FREE event in which visitors can experience live performances, meet performers and go backstage. This favorite annual event marks the kick-off of the Fall performing arts season in Houston, and is a one-day-only opportunity to experience the energy and excitement of Houston’s Theater District.
Guests can enjoy visits to and performances from one of Houston's nine major performing arts organizations, an instrument petting zoo, backstage tours, costume trunks, meet-and-greet opportunities with performers, and much more. The event ends with a Houston Symphony concert at Jones Hall beginning at 4pm.
