Are you ready to hop with the Easter Bunny? Hop on over to the City’s 30th Annual EGGStravaganza held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Eldridge Park. Everyone is invited to enjoy the Easter fun and to participate in many activities throughout the park. Local organizations will provide activity booths and egg scrambles for all ages are just a few exciting things that will be at this year's event.
Activities and Entertainment
The first 200 families will have the opportunity to receive a free picture with the Easter Bunny. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in egg scrambles and find 30 golden eggs which represent the 30th year of hosting this event. For the special needs children and the children under four a continuous egg hunt will be provided throughout the day.
Other entertainment includes walk-around characters such as a baby chick, and little Bo-Peep with her sheep for picture opportunities. Activities include; A foam pit, Texans football toss and Sweet and Sassy will be doing hair for all the little princesses on site. Stomping grounds will be doing a raffle to give away two of their birthday prize packs. Other activities will be available for children who want to partake in the festivities.
The main stage will come to life with Radio Disney. The Radio Disney Crew will host children’s activities during the day. Children can also engage with other kids in carnival-themed games at the carnival tent.
