Do Something Great - Support Justin's TRIumph Over GAN

Find out what you can do to help a local family battle a fatal diagnosis

September 14, 2014
This month, Macaroni Kid publishers across the country will celebrate Macaroni Kid's first Do Something Great Day. Macaroni Kid SW Houston is joining the movement, and encouraging our readers to support a local family and their organization, Justin's TRIumph Over GAN.

The Clark family of Bellaire is raising funds and awareness of for a fatal disease known as Giant Axonal Neuropathy, or GAN. One son, Justin, and their daughter, Lexi, each have been diagnosed with the disease. Justin's twin brother, Jarad, is a carrier of the disease, but does not have it. Two ways you can help:
Donate directly to GAN research.

Attend a special benefit performance of Slugs and Bugs on September 19, 2014, 7pm - 8pm at Houston's Chinese Church. The cost is $10/person.

Funds donated go directly to Hannah's Hope for GAN, a national non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for GAN.

Please visit (and like) the Justin's TRIumph Facebook page for updates and more ways to help. Thank you!
