- Limit shopping trips to a manageable time with built-in breaks. Sure, knocking out every item on your to-do list in a day would be ideal, but not with kids. Divide your trips into shorter increments and be willing to take breaks for playtime with the children.
- Contain the toy excitement to one room. Assign one room as the playroom in your house, where all toys are played with and all toys stay.
- Keep safety first. Keep your home safe with non-flammable and non-breakable decorations. Your entire family will be safe in your home and you can relax knowing that your great-grandmother’s heirloom won’t be broken.
