Before rockets glare and fireworks are in the air, join Captain America and Lady Liberty as you exercise your right to be a kid as long as possible with some good ole American fun!
The stars and stripes will be in full effect as we celebrate our country's 243rd birthday at the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center! Don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue to pay tribute to the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Event: July 4, 2019
SPECIAL EVENTS:
- Captain America and Lady Liberty: Get inspired by the first Avenger and an American icon. Don't forget your camera!
- Time: noon to 2 p.m.
- Lady Liberty's Crown: Get ready for the 4th of July by gearing up with red, white and blue style.
- Time: All day in Art Academy
- American Freedom Mask: Become a protector of freedom just like Captin America.
- Time: All day in Art Academy
- American Flag Giveaways: Show off your patriotic side and wave your American flag.
- Time: Beginning at 10 a.m. at the Welcome Center*
