Sleeping Beauty at The Company OnStage

Join the Company OnStage for the final children's performance of the 2012-2013 season!

The Company OnStage concludes its 2012-2013 children’s season with an enchanting adaptation of Sleeping Beauty, by Laura Williams.  Performances will be presented every Saturday from June 29th through July 27th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Friday, June 21 - BELLAIRE: Owl Prowl - Nature Discovery Center

Come learn about the night owls that live in and around Russ Pitman Park. A Nature Discovery Center Staff Naturalist will introduce you to the animals you are likely to find and to the best ways to find them, before guiding an exploration through the park.

Friday, June 21 through Saturday, June 22 - Houston Symphony 100th Anniversary Concert - Miller Outdoor Theater

Celebrate the kick-off of the Centennial Season with a free concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre open to all of Houston. Join the Symphony, chorus, American Idol Finalist Lakisha Jones, a marching band, dancers and other special guests for a concert of orchestral blockbusters. Plus, enjoy a spectacular fireworks display!
The orchestra will perform favorites like Beethoven's Ode to Joy with the Houston Symphony Chorus, selections from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, and John Williams' Liberty Fanfare. Plus, hear music from The Planets--An HD Odyssey, paired with images of NASA's exploration of the solar system projected on a giant screen.

How: This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
