The Children's Museum of Houston's Summer of Epic Adventure continues through September 2, 2013. The Museum has powered up and transformed into The League – an elite, superhero training institute complete with superhero teachers, action-packed activities, daily epic showdown live performance, character appearances and extraordinary events, so that YOU (the superhero trainee) can beat boredom and all that stands against summer fun!
The super-fun continues with a visit from Whyatt, of the popular PBS series, Super Why. The Children's Museum of Houston will screen HoustonPBS’ literacy superhero series with red carpet extravaganza and Whyatt character appearance. For this event, happening Friday, August 9, HoustonPBS members receive $3 discount

“Super WHY!” is the first educational, superhero TV series to help children learn to read through engaging story adventures.
Follow 6-year-old, Whyatt Beanstalk, younger brother of Jack, from “Jack and the Beanstalk,” and his charming fairytale character friends—Red of “Little Red Riding Hood” fame, Littlest Pig from “The Three Little Pigs,” and Princess Pea of the beloved “The Princess and the Pea,” as they convert into their alter egos and use their superpowers to literally jump into books to discover answers to everyday questions and challenges.
