MISSOURI CITY: Summer Day Camp - City of Missouri City

Beginning June 16, Missouri City will once again host eight Summer Day Camp sessions at the Community Center in the City Hall Complex, 1522 Texas Pkwy., to give area youth from all corners of the city an exciting way to beat the summer heat.
Open for children age 5-12, the camps run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day and will include group games, arts and crafts, field trips and outdoor activities such as swimming.
Session dates are:
Session 1: June 16-20
Session 2: June 23-27
Session 3: June 30-July 3
Session 4: July 7-11
Session 5: July 14-18
Session 6: July 21-25
Session 7: July 28-August 1
Session 8: August 4-8

Parents interested in signing up their children must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate with their application and must attend a parent orientation on Wednesday, June 11, or Thursday, June 12 at 6 p.m. in the Community Center Auditorium. Parents who register mid-summer will have to sign off that they received the camp’s parent handbook.
The camp costs $100 per camper, and $75 per each additional sibling. Session 3 of the camp will be shortened because of the July 4 holiday and will be $80 per camper, and $60 per each additional sibling. Cost includes a T-shirt, two snacks each day, a weekly field trip and all additional activities, including swimming.
