Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo Kicks Off This Friday, October 10

Houston's favorite spooky kooky Halloween event returns!

October 6, 2014
Houston’s largest family-friendly Halloween event is back and better than ever! Guests can bring their little ghouls and goblins to the Houston Zoo for Zoo Boo, presented by BBVA Compass.  Enjoy safe Halloween trick-or-treating, music, and fun activities with a “naturally wild” twist on Friday, October 10, 17, and 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guests can pick a “child-sized” pumpkin to decorate from the Fiesta Mart Pumpkin Patch; show off their best Zoo Boo costume and learn how to ‘dance like a zombie at the Monster Mashquerade; feast their eyes on larger-than-life candy in The Candy Cave; channel their inner artist and contribute to our Monster Mural; visit our Tatzoo Parlor.  Enjoy family friendly games at the Festival of Fun area; learn interesting animal facts as they try to guess what’s in the Zoo Boo Mystery Box; all this plus Howlerween (learn how the zoo releases animals back into the wild), Halloween-themed Meet the Keeper Talks and animal-themed Candy Corner candy stations.

All Zoo Boo, presented by BBVA Compass, activities are included with paid zoo admission.  Zoo Boo is free for zoo members.

Zoo Boo is sponsored by BBVA Compass, Fiesta Mart, McDonald’s, The Goddard School, and United – the official airline of the Houston Zoo.
