Houston Community College Southwest will be the best destination for free and family-oriented Halloween fun. The Safe Halloween Fall Festival kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday and runs through 8 p.m.
Those brave enough can tread with care through the haunted house. Visitors are also welcome to take a gander through the pumpkin patch, get an up close look at a fire truck and play in the bounce house.
There will be plenty of candy for trick-or-treaters of all ages. A face painting station, music, games and giveaways are all included in the list of activities, which are offered free as a way for HCC Southwest to give back to the community that supports it.
