The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center is hosting an Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, January 24, 2015, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. The event is FREE to attend.
This year’s event is packed with nature festivities and all things tree. You can be an ambassador for trees and help us End Treelessness (#EndTreelessness) by stopping by, taking home a free native tree seedling, and participating in some of our nature themed activities.
Arbor Day Activities and Crafts:
• Johnny Appleseed will hand out acorns
• HANC the Owl will be giving away tree seedlings
• Make designer recycled paper hats
• Discounted membership drive with free gifts
• Nature Playground with fun children’s areas
Event includes Arbor Day Native Plant Sale and Arbor Day Bird Safari & Flight Show
