Tween Pix Contest - Houston Public Library

Is your child an aspiring photographer between the ages of 11 and 13? The Houston Public Library is hosting a Tween Pix Contest, closing May 15, 2015.
Guidelines:

Tweens ages 11-13 may enter.

All photos must be the tween's original work.

Photo topics are scenery, people, and animals.

All photos will be previewed for content. Please keep the photo content acceptable for family viewing.

Photos may be cropped, and the tools to eliminate red eye and basic color correction are allowed. However,
no electronic editing, including Photoshop will be accepted.

Each photographer must submit one printed 8x10 photo and a digital version of the photo in .jpg format.

Individual submissions only. No group submissions will be accepted.

Please turn in copies, not originals.

Deadline

All photos must be submitted by May 15, 2015.
Entry Information

All entries will be accepted at:
Central Library | 4th Floor, Kids Room
500 McKinney St., Houston, TX 77002

Email digital version in .jpg format to:children.reference@houstontx.gov

Prizes

1st Place -- Certificate and $100 check
2nd Place -- Certificate and $75 check
3rd Place -- Certificate and $50 check
4th Place -- Certificate and $25 check

The winning photos will also be displayed on the 4th floor of the Central Library.
